Summer Course at a Glance

Location: Conservatoire de musique de Montréal

Time:  9:00 am – 5:30 pm daily 

Option 1
8-Day Course (50 hrs): Tuesday, July 2 to Tuesday, July 9 inclusive

Option 2
4-Day Course (25 hrs): Tuesday, July 2 to Friday, July 5 inclusive

• Daily lessons in Eurhythmics, Aural Training and Improvisation
• Movement Technique and Body Awareness
• Pedagogy and Applications                                                                        

Exams:  Wednesday, July 10
•Pre-requisite: 75 coursework hours including participation in the full Summer 2024 Course (8-days).Please contact Dalcroze Canada for more details.
• Separate registration and exam fees required

Levels of Instruction Offered (Class content follows the DEIEB Syllabus)
• Beginner (no previous Dalcroze experience)
• Foundation, Intermediate and Certificate Levels (for those pursuing Certification)
•Advanced / Post-Certificate Level

Pre-requisite:
• Students should possess a solid foundation in music and music theory
