Join us for an engaging and experiential introduction to Jaques-Dalcroze Eurhythmics, an internationally recognized approach to music education that develops musicianship through movement, active listening, singing, and improvisation.
Schedule:
1:30-2:25 - Rhythmics
2:30-3:25 - Solfège
3:30-4:15 - Improvisation
4:15-4:30 - Q&A
Through the collective experience, participants will deepen their sense of rhythm, strengthen the connection between music and movement and discover new approaches to artistic practice and teaching.
No prior Dalcroze experience is required.
Other information:Paid parking is available next to the venue. Please wear comfortable clothing and come prepared to move; barefoot, grippy socks, or soft-soled dance shoes are recommended. Bring water and note-taking materials if desired.
